What to expect during your cruise?

What to Expect...

First off, you can expect to have a great time as you travel along the Intracoastal Waterway!

The Intracoastal Waterway is protected from the elements, so your ride will be smooth and comfortable, even on a breezy day.

Board the MAJESTIC PRINCESS after checking in with the crew member at the gangway. Once on board, you’ll have time to explore the MAJESTIC PRINCESS prior to departure and take advantage of our fully stocked service bar.

You may sit outside on the spacious sundeck and enjoy a relaxing drink, or retreat to the climate-controlled lower level for a spectacular meal.

What to Bring...

Bring a light jacket or sweater, as it can sometimes be cooler on the water than on land. Wear comfortable shoes, as you will be exploring the boat thoroughly during your cruise.

The sun is usually more intense on the water than on land, so be sure to include sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat.

You’ll want to remember every minute of your adventure, so remember to bring a camera to capture images of Florida as well as the million-dollar homes and yachts along the way.

Your Cruise Checklist:

  • Jacket or sweater
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Hat
  • Comfortable shoes or sneakers

For a large group, call us as soon as possible. Individuals and small groups should try to book within seven (7) days for our public cruises. Reservations are accepted up to two (2) days prior to sailing depending upon availability. We recommend calling as early as possible, especially for special cruises such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, July 4th, New Years Eve, and all other holidays.

Ken and Michele GibsonWhere or how do we pick up our tickets?

No tickets will be issued or sent unless you've purchased public cruise tickets on Zerve.
Upon arrival at the MAJESTIC PRINCESS, introduce yourself to our crew member and provide your photo ID - or if you got your tickets on Zerve you may present those.

FacebookIf my party is unable to make it or we miss the ship,
   will we receive a refund?

We are sorry, but all unused tickets are non-refundable.

Do I pay gratuity or is it included in the ticket price?

Gratuity is not included in the price of admission.  Our onboard wait staff are paid the typical minimum restaurant wages.  Therefore, a gratuity of 15 – 20% is customary for services rendered.

Is there a sharing charge if I purchase only one entrée and share it with someone?

Yes, a $5 sharing charge will be added to your bill if two people share one entrée.

Is there an automatic gratuity charge added to the check?

Yes, there is an 18% gratuity charge for parties of 6 or more.

Can I bring my own food or beverages on-board?

No outside food or beverages are allowed on-board.

Is the MAJESTIC PRINCESS handicap accessible?

Yes, our main boarding deck is handicap accessible and our crew is available for assistance. Please communicate any special needs when making your reservation.

What should I wear?

For evening cruises, appropriate attire is casual to dressy. Men traditionally wear sport shirts, slacks and sport coats, with or without ties. Women wear dresses or nice pants. We do not recommend T-shirts, jeans, shorts, or sneakers in the evening. Afternoon cruises are more relaxed, so casual attire is fine.

Will I get seasick?

It's unlikely, as the Intracoastal Waterway is calm and experiences very minimal wave action.

( See testimonial from a passenger who had concerns about getting seasick but had no issues/had a wonderful time on the cruise...)

In an emergency, could someone reach me while the ship is
   away from the dock?

Yes, cell phones will work while we are sailing. If you do not have a cell phone you can be reached onboard by calling (561) 254-0424 for emergencies only.

Is smoking allowed?

There is a designated smoking area onboard.

What beverages are included in the standard ticket price?

All beverages are available for purchase at the cash bar.

How far in advance should I begin planning the details of my    private event on the MAJESTIC PRINCESS?

Event planning should begin as far in advance as possible in order for us to determine availability and allow ample time to meet all of your event needs.

What kind of entertainment is on board?

The MAJESTIC PRINCESS offers music by a DJ or band for specially advertised cruises such as 4th of July, Palm Beach Boat Parade, and more. A variety of tunes are available through the MAJESTIC PRINCESS state-of-the-art sound system on all other cruises.

Where should we park?

Parking is available adjacent to the dock. The marina is currently under construction. Please follow the detour signs. The dock leading to the Majestic Princess yachts is located at the north end of the marina.

Are there special rates for groups on public cruises?

Some special events have group rates available. Please check the listings and contact us.

Where do you depart?

All public cruises depart from Riviera Beach Marina. Private Charters depart from Riviera Beach Marina and other locations in South Florida. See Directions.

Where do I go to board for a sightseeing cruise?

Please proceed directly to the Majestic Princess dock to check in and board 15 minutes prior to departure unless otherwise stated. Please allow an extra 30 minutes for traffic and parking at the marina.

May I bring a camera on board?

Guests are more than welcome to bring their own cameras for personal pictures aboard the MAJESTIC PRINCESS. We ask that you respect others while taking your pictures.

What is the cruise route?

Cruising south, we pass under the Blue Heron Bridge, Peanut Island, Lake Worth inlet, Port of Palm Beach, West Palm Beach and return to the dock.
