Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I make reservations?
For a large group, call us as soon as possible. Individuals and small groups should try to book within seven (7) days for our public cruises. Reservations are accepted up to two (2) days prior to sailing depending upon availability. We recommend calling as early as possible, especially for special cruises such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, July 4th, New Years Eve, and all other holidays.
Can I make reservations by phone and pay at the ship?
For public cruises, payment is required in full at the time of the reservation. We accept most major credit cards and bank cards. For private/charter cruises, a deposit is required in advance. Please contact us for additional details.
I do not have a credit card. Can I make a reservation?
Special arrangements can be made for payment by cash or money order by calling (561) 254-0424 at least seven (7) days prior to sailing.
Where or how do we pick-up our tickets?
No tickets will be issued or sent. Upon arrival at the MAJESTIC PRINCESS, introduce yourself to our crew member and provide your photo ID.
If my party is unable to make it or we miss the ship, will we receive a refund?
We are sorry, but all unused tickets are non-refundable.
Do I pay gratuity or is it included in the ticket price?
The ticket price does include gratuity but not on the beverages purchased. If you would like to offer a tip, they are always greatly appreciated; 15-20% is the standard gratuity for excellent service.
Is the MAJESTIC PRINCESS handicap accessible?
Yes, our main boarding deck is handicap accessible and our crew is available for assistance. Please communicate any special needs when making your reservation.
Is seating pre-assigned?
Yes. As you board, a crew member will direct you to your assigned table(s). Your group will be seated together in the same section; however, there may be other parties surrounding your group.
What should I wear?
For evening cruises, appropriate attire is casual to dressy. Men traditionally wear sport shirts, slacks and sport coats, with or without ties. Women wear dresses or nice pants. We do not recommend T-shirts, jeans, shorts, or sneakers in the evening. Afternoon cruises are more relaxed, so casual attire is fine.
Will I get seasick?
It's unlikely, as the Intracoastal Waterway is calm and experiences very minimal wave action.
Can we meet the Captain and visit the bridge?
Yes. Guests are welcome to meet the captain and tour the bridge once we set sail. Please see a crew member for further details.
In an emergency, could someone reach me while the ship is away from the dock?
Yes, cell phones will work while we are sailing. If you do not have a cell phone you can be reached onboard by calling (561) 254-0424 for emergencies only.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is allowed on the outside 1st deck aft. Smoking is not permitted in any area inside the yacht, 2nd deck, 3 deck, or on the bow.
What beverages are included in the standard ticket price?
Coffee, tea, and iced tea, are complimentary during your meal. All other beverages may be purchased at the cash bar.
